朝目めると病院のベッドの上でした、仲間に助けられました。仲間が来てくれなかったら死んでいたでしょう。卒業して鉄工所に入社しました、職場ですぐ飲み仲間ができました。毎日命を大切に断酒会の仲間の輪の中で毎日を大事に生きています。毎日毎朝、消えてしまいたい、早く楽になりたいと思いながら会社に出勤していました。三交代勤務がついた日から朝仕事が終わり帰宅したらすぐ酒を飲んで寝る、そんな日々が続く様になり、そうこうする毎日が面白くなくなり、淋しさと孤独に苦しみ悩みましたが、なかなかお酒をやめることは出来ませんでした。手先が器用で、三線（さんしん）や沖縄そばなどを自ら作り、若い頃に那覇で大工の見習いをした経験から自宅も建設した。
